AKE Sawmaster - Log and cant breakdown for highest profitability

AKE Sawmaster is a result of our more than 50 years of experience in bandsaw technology.

AKE Sawmaster can be delivered as a primary or secondary breakdown saw, in groups of 2, 3 or 4 saw units, in stand-alone designs or combined with reducer discs. Our bandsaws are manufactured in our factory and delivered calibrated, aligned and complete with internal hydraulics, central lubrication and electrical wiring. This cuts installation time at the sawmill.

AKE Sawmaster can be delivered with a specially adapted protective housing whose two halves can slide open. This housing lowers noice levels and reduces dust pollution.

AKE Sawmaster can be fitted with feedworks for straight and curve-sawing and for cants with flats along their whole length or cant tops without flats. The module-designed feedworks come with single or double rollers that are reset by servohydraulic setting cylinders and move on round guides combined with guide rails to eliminate any play.

”Cant Alignment, Radius-independent”, abbreviated "CAR", is Söderhamn Eriksson's patented concept for improved dimensional accuracy and curve-sawing properties of bandsaws. When the cant has arrived in the CAR feedworks, the previous feedworks release the cant so curve-sawing will take place between the CAR-rollers. This increases not only wood recovery but also lumber quality.

Option: Upper saw guides that are reset via two parallel guide rails and hydraulic cylinders controlled by a PLC system and scanner.
